Breakfast, 9:45 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light strawberry banana yogurt.

Lunch, 1:30 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: Shrimp alfredo at some restaurant in Madison. (I was there to be fitted for a bridesmaids dress.) I can't remember the name of the place, but it was really good.

Snack, 6:30 p.m.

Gas station fare on the way home from Madison -- Diet Mountain Dew and a Baby Ruth bar.

Dinner, 9:30 p.m.

Two slices of meat lovers take-n-bake pizza. I'm not really a meat lover; I picked half of the toppings off.

January 30, 2009

Breakfast, 6:30 a.m.

Light mixed berry yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch (snack?), 11:30 a.m.

I didn't eat most of this -- just the granola bar, the cheese, and the applesauce. One of my fillings fell out, so I didn't want to eat much. Partly because it hurt, and partly because I had an unexpected emergency dentist appointment in the afternoon and wouldn't have a chance to brush beforehand. Note to self: store toothbrush and mini toothpaste in desk drawer in case of emergency. I mean, why not? I've already got deodorant, ibuprofen, tampons, and a hair brush...

Lunch #2?, 4:15 p.m.

Taco soup with shredded cheese. (Nope, it's not gone yet -- there's at least one bowl left.)

Dinner, 11:30 p.m.

Spaghetti with parmesan. I went to Milwaukee for a hockey game with Exercise Scientist Kelly, and I was real hungry when got back, so...yeah.

January 29, 2009

Breakfast, 9:00 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light raspberry yogurt.

Lunch, 11:00 a.m.
NOT PICTURED: Faculty meeting lunch. (I'm still too scared to be the crazy nutjob who photographs her food, so no pictures.) I had a salad (lettuce, carrot slices, tomato, crutons, and sunflower seeds -- no dressing), a cup of vegetable beef soup, a roll, and a chocolate chip cookie.

Snack, 2:30 p.m.

Fritos and Diet Pepsi -- the faculty meeting lunch wasn't filling, so I had to visit the vending machine.

Snack, 5:15 p.m.

String cheese. Just one piece. :)

Dinner, 6:15 p.m.

More taco soup, with crushed up Fritos. (Theyre mixed in.)

Snack, 8:00 p.m.

Wheat toast with blackberry jam.

Snack, 10:15 p.m.

Frozen blueberries! (I like them frozen better than I like them fresh -- is that weird?)

January 28, 2009

Breakfast, 6:30 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and mixed berry yogurt.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Turkey sandwich, applesauce, apple, and a granola bar. I had the pretzels as a snack around 10:30 a.m.

Snack, 5:30 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: a bag of vending machine Doritos. I had a meeting that went until 5:30, and then I was meeting a few profs for "girls night out" at a dive bar near the college. I was hungry, andI figured it would be a bad idea to have a drink on an empty stomach, so...yeah. Good thing, too, because one of the professors' sisters was the bar tender, and she made us a really yummy shot with cream, vodka, and peppermint schnapps. It wasn't terribly strong, but on a mostly empty stomach (plus one cocktail), it would have been a bad idea.

Dinner, 7:30 p.m.

A mug of taco soup.

Snack, 10:15 p.m.

Granola bar.

January 27, 2009

Breakfast, 9:00 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light strawberry banana yogurt.

Lunch, 12:45 p.m.

I was lazy about packing a lunch again...so I went to the campus grill again, and had a cheesesteak and fries again. This needs to stop. It's very yummy, but also very greasy and not exactly cheap, either. Plus, it makes my office smell like fast food. (How embarrassing.)

Dinner, 7:00 p.m.

Ravioli carbonara and canned corn. I shouldn't have made this -- the sauce is a heart attack, and in combination with my lunchtime philly...well...yeah. Bad day. The problem is that the milk in my fridge was going bad, so I had to use it up. That meant either a cream sauce for ravioli, or an even worse cream sauce for a chicken pasta dish. :(

January 26, 2009

Breakfast, 6:45 a.m.

Wheat toast with peanut butter, and light black cherry yogurt.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Turkey sandwich, Baked Ruffles, granola bar, and applesauce. I had the string cheese as a morning snack (around 10:00).

Snack, 5:00 p.m.

Granola bar and apple -- I was starving when I got home.

Dinner, 7:00 p.m.

Sadly, Papa John's discontinued the Monday night "Beat the Clock" special for the new year. :( So, we had Pizza Hut stuffed crust instead. (My half was the half with Canadian bacon.) As if that wasn't unhealthy enough, we also had cheesy breadsticks.

January 25, 2009

Breakfast, 12:15 p.m.

Banana and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 3:45 p.m.

Campbell's chicken noodle soup. "Mmm mmm good!"

Beverage, 6:15 p.m.

Chocolate milk. Appropriate choice of glass, yes? I didn't even notice until I uploaded the picture. :)

Dinner, 7:45 p.m.

Chicken quesedilla and taco soup (with crushed Fritos on top -- yum).

Snack, 9:30 p.m.

I split these strawberries with Jon. They were on sale at Piggly Wiggly for $1.50 -- super cheap! There were a few rotten ones, but for the most part they were pretty good.

January 24, 2009

Breakfast, 11:30 a.m.

Banana and peanut butter on wheat toast. Oh. And a glass of cranberry juice.

Snack, 3:30 p.m.

Light strawberry yogurt.

Dinner, 6:30 p.m.

I had intended to have something better than Mac-n-Cheese, but that didn't happen. Long story short, I had to meet Psychology Prof Alicia for drinks at 7. Late in the afternoon, the washing machine on my floor -- which was filled with my clothes, of course -- flooded THREE floors of the apartment building before anyone noticed (and then, only because the water shorted out some wiring, which set off the fire alarm). Panic ensued, as did cleanup and the hassle of dealing with sopping wet (and still soapy) clothes...so there was no time to eat anything "real" before going out.

Dinner/Snack, 8:00
NOT PICTURED: The mac-n-cheese wasn't filling, especially since I hadn't eaten lunch, so I ordered a cup of chili while out for drinks. I forgot to photograph it, though.

Snack, 12:30 a.m.

I split this with Jon. I can't remember the last time I had popcorn...wow.

January 23, 2009

Breakfast, 6:45 a.m.

Banana and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Turkey sandwich, pretzels, applesauce, and string cheese. The granola bar was a morning snack, some time around 10:00 a.m.

Snack, 4:00 p.m.

Light black cherry yogurt.

Dinner, 6:15 p.m.

There was a play at my college tonight -- Guys on Ice (very funny, but probably only if you're from 'Sconnie). Exercise Scientist Kelly and I went out to dinner before the play. We had Friday Fish Fry, a great Wisconsin tradition. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture before I had cleaned my plate. Anyway, dinner was 2 pieces of lake perch (batter fried) and fries.

Snack, 11:00 p.m.
I remember coming home from the play and being hungry...but I don't remember what I ate. I'd guess it was either yogurt, string cheese, or a granola bar, but I can't be certain.

January 22, 2009

Breakfast, 9:15 a.m.

Banana and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 1:15 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: I was too lazy to pack a lunch, so I got a cheese steak and fries from the grill at the college. I forgot to take a picture of it, though. Definitely the pinnacle of healthy eating right there.

Snack, 5:30 p.m.

Light blueberry yogurt.

Dinner, 8:00 p.m.

Too much spaghetti, and wheat toast. I've been liking toast lately.

January 21, 2009

Breakfast, 6:30 a.m.

Banana and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Turkey sandwich, Baked Doritos, granola bar, and string cheese. The applesauce was a snack some time around 10:00 a.m.

Dinner, 7:45 p.m.

Mexican Shells & Cheese -- a.k.a. Velveeta with Salsa, hamburger, and black beans. It's pretty yummy and really easy to make.

January 20, 2009

Breakfast, 9:15 a.m.

Light blackberry yogurt, and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 1:30 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: I forgot my lunch at home...oops. So, I had Subway -- 6" turkey on wheat, Doriots, and a Diet Coke.

Snack, 5:45 p.m.

Banana

Dinner, 7:00 p.m.

Frozen pizza -- sausage, pepperoni, and peppers.

January 19, 2009

Breakfast, 6:45 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light Blackberry yogurt (yum!).

Lunch, 12:30 p.m.

Ah, yes, back to the usual assortment of crap that is my bag lunch: turkey sandwich, Baked Lays, granola bar, and applesauce.

Snack, 4:00 p.m.

Apple. Doesn't the stapler look as though it's been photoshopped in?

Dinner, 7:00 p.m.

Jon made Stouffer's, and I happily ate it. Bad for me, I know...

Snack, 11:15 p.m.

I split these with Jon. They were a little sour, but not too bad. I guess you can't expect too much from blueberries that are on sale in winter.
