That second picture is "chicken cordon bleu casserole" -- rice, chicken, ham, Swiss cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, crushed Saltines, and spices.  Delicious, and super easy to make.

I know that my eating was terrible today, but that's because it was my family's Easter celebration...

March 29, 2013

For some reason, the blog won't publish the photo of the Potato Oles I split with Ingie. I also forgot to take a picture of the Special K bar I ate while dying eggs. Oh -- and I only ate half of that cup of doughnuts.

BREAKFAST, 7:30 A.M.
Strawberry Pop-Tarts
LUNCH, 11:00 A.M.
Faculty meeting -- a place where it's not appropriate to photograph your food.  I had a cup of beer cheese soup, 2 bread sticks, some fruit salad, and a slice of raspberry pie.

SNACK, 4:30 P.M.
Annie's fruit snacks.

DINNER, 7:10 P.M.
Turkey sub, Doritos, and Diet Coke.
SNACK, 11:30 P.M.
Just a tiny little bit of leftover Stouffer's.

Not pictured: random trail mix throughout my hellish 12-hour day.

Another candidate interview...

...another unpictured dinner. Fried green beans & onion ring appetizers, breaded shrimp, fries, & diet Coke. There was also an undocumented handful of trail mix between advising appointments. No time to dig out the phone & photograph it.

Not pictured: Trail Mix...kind of a lot.

March 23, 2013

Not pictured: lunch in the LC cafeteria. They feed us when we come in on Saturdays to register incoming freshmen. I had a cheese burger, potato chips, jello, cookie, and lemonade.

BREAKFAST, 7:15 A.M.
Krispy Kreme donut & Starbucks white mocha -- the only way I was able to motivate myself to get up so damn early for the job candidate's teaching demo.  I hate morning.
LUNCH, 11:40 A.M.
Microwaveable mac 'n cheese. It was not very good. I prefer the cheaper Easy Mac.
SNACK, 4:15 P.M. & 6:20 P.M.
Handfuls of trail mix.
DINNER, 7:30 P.M.
Turkey sub & Doritos.

My dinner isn't pictured because I am a member of a search committee, and we had an interview dinner with a candidate at Twisted Root tonight. It didn't seem professional to whip my phone out to photograph my drink (amaretto sour), the shared appetizer plate (many fried things--the green beans were especially good), or my meal (portabella mushroom ravioli and French onion soup).
