Breakfast, 10:00 a.m.

Light strawberry yogurt. No toast because I knew I'd be eating a doughnut at

Breakfast/Snack, 11:30 a.m.
I had to sit at the General Studies table for the spring Open House, and they always have food at those things. I had a doughnut and 2 glasses of orange juice.

Lunch/Dinner, 3:30 p.m.

Lisa was in Elkhart Lake for a church retreat this weekend, so I met her for a late lunch/early dinner after the open house. (Elkhart Lake is just 7 miles up the road from my college.) I ate most of the mushroom swiss burger, less than half of the fries, almost none of the soup, and half of the cheese curds. What's up with restaurants in this part of the state serving both fries AND soup with a sandwich? Seriously...that's too much food. Especially if you want to split some friend cheese with your friend.

Snack, 5:45 p.m.

"Itti Bitz" -- basically, Dippin' Dots from the grocery store. They were on sale, 10/$10, so I bought a few. This flavor was strawberry cheesecake, and it was good.

Snacks, 7:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m.
I went to a party at psychologist Alicia's and, miraculously, ate very little despite the vast array of yummy food that my colleagues brought. I had a few M&M cookies and a very small number of chips with some cheese sauce dip. That's it. I was too frickin' full from the burger.

Breakfast, 6:45 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light peach yogurt.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Turkey sandwich, applesauce, Baked Lays, and string cheese. The granola bar was a morning snack.

Snack, 4:00 p.m.

Goldfish crackers.

Dinner, 8:00 p.m.

Butter burger with cheese and a bowl of chili. I put the custard (chocolate raspberry) in the freezer and ate it later, maybe around 10:00.

Breakfast, 9:00 a.m.

Light blueberry yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 11:30 a.m.
NOT PICTURED: Today was our monthly faculty meeting, so lunch was on the college. I had a cup of vegetable beef soup, two breadsticks, a few Saltines, a cookie, and a *very* small salad (no dressing, but with bacon bits, croutons, tomatoes, and sunflower seeds).

Snack, 3:30 p.m.

I spent all day in my office (minus the faculty meeting) frantically grading papers and calculating midterm grades, which were due to the registrar by 4:30. I needed a vending machine pick-me-up to get through it all. I finished the midterm madness with 12 minutes to spare, and I feel that my snack deserves much of the credit for that. Also? One of the weird things about Wisconsin is that Mountain Dew is everywhere, and it's not only the choice beverage of gamers and trailer trash. You'd never find a Diet Mountain Dew in a vending machine in Anchorage, for example. Here, though, it would be weird not to find it.

Dinner, 6:45 p.m.

Frozen pizza. I always pick the olives off, but I've recently grown to like peppers on my pizza.

February 25, 2009

Breakfast, 6:45 a.m.

Light strawberry yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Turkey sandwich, Goldfish crackers, applesauce, and string cheese. The granola bar was a morning snack.

Snack, 4:30 p.m.

Baked Doritos are my least favorite of the baked chips, but there's always a "yucky" kind in a Costco variety pack, right?

Dinner, 7:30 p.m.

Spaghetti with marinara sauce and parmesan, and garlic bread. I had another helping of bread, and also another helping of noodles...but the second round of noodles was without sauce.

Snack, 9:45 p.m.

Chocolate chip cookie.

February 24, 2009

Breakfast, 9:15 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light blueberry yogurt.

Lunch, 12:30 p.m.

Subway...again. This time, the sandwich was a 6" turkey & ham. I need to be less lazy and forgetful, because going out to lunch (whether to the campus grill or to Subway) is going to slowly bankrupt me.

Snack, 5:00 p.m.

Chocolate chip cookie.

Dinner, 6:45 p.m.

Leftover Chili's shrimp alfredo.

February 23, 2009

Breakfast, 6:45 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and peach yogurt.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Bagel, Baked Lays, applesauce, and string cheese. The granola bar was a morning snack.

Snack, 4:45 p.m.

Granloa bar...followed by a glass of chocolate milk.

Dinner, 6:30 p.m.

Shrimp alfredo at Chili's. Jon decided we should go out, and since he pretty much never suggests going out, well...this was an occasion. :)

Snack, 9:30 p.m.

Chocolate chip cookie. They were on sale at the gas station, so Jon picked up a box when I sent him in for a loaf of bread.

February 22, 2009

Breakfast, 11:30 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast, and light strawberry banana yogurt.

Beverage, 2:30 p.m.

Chocolate milk.

Snack, 3:15 p.m.

Packet of Goldfish crackers.

Dinner, 6:30 p.m.

Leftover pizza.

Snack, 10:30 p.m.

Blueberry muffin from Costco.

February 21, 2009

Breakfast, 8:30 a.m.
NOT PICTURED: A crumb donut, a few pieces of fruit (watermelon, strawberry, pineapple), and a glass of OJ. I was at my college for the assessment workshop, bright and early on a Saturday morning despite blizzard conditions. At least they fed us?

Lunch, 11:45 a.m.
NOT PICTURED: Still at the college for the assessment workshop. I had some sort of breaded chicken thing (it was really good), sliced whole potatoes with butter, a roll, and a peanut butter cookie. (Still blizzarding outside.)

Snack, 5:30 p.m.

Chocolate milk and a Costco blueberry muffin. (STILL blizzarding.)

Dinner, 9:00 p.m.

Two slices of meat lovers "take-and-bake" pizza from Wal-Mart. I always pick off a lot of the meat because it's just too much. (The snow stopped, but then it started blowing and drifting.)

February 20, 2009

Breakfast, 6:45 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light blueberry yogurt.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Turkey sandwich, string cheese, applesauce, and Goldfish crackers. I had the granola bar as a morning snack.

Snack, 3:00 p.m.

I had some Baked Lays to get some food in me before meeting some colleagues for an end-of-the-week drink.

Snack, 5:30 p.m.

I shared this with colleagues at the bar...there's a Norwegian shop just up the street from the bar. For those of you who don't read Norsk, this is hazelnut chocolate. (Ingie, they didn't have the plain milk chocolate, so I had to make do.)

Dinner, 8:00 p.m.

Mac-n-cheese.

February 19, 2009

Breakfast, 9:15 a.m.

Light black cherry yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 12:45 p.m.

Grilled ham & cheese sandwich on sourdough bread, fries, and a Diet Pepsi from the campus grill.

Dinner, 4:30 p.m.

Bagel and a bowl of chili. I ate so early because we were leaving for a hockey game in Milwaukee at 5:15.

Snack, 8:00 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: I had an overpriced frozen yogurt in a waffle cone at the hockey game. It was really, really good and even though it was expensive, at least they gave me a lot of yogurt. Holy crap.

February 18, 2009

Breakfast, 6:45 a.m.

Cheese bagel and light strawberry yogurt.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Turkey sandwich, Baked Doritos, strawberry granola bar, and applesauce. The other granola bar (chocolate, I think) was a morning snack around 10:00.

Dinner, 6:00 p.m.

Bagel and a bowl of chili with lots of cheese. I had a whole bagel even though only half is in the picture -- because I was so hungry that I started eating the bagel while the chili was still in the microwave.

Snack, 10:00 p.m.

Blackberries. I split these with Jon, but it probably worked out to nearly a pint each -- this is Costco packaging.

February 17, 2009

Breakfast, 9:00 a.m.

Light berry yogurt and wheat toast with peanut butter.

Lunch, 12:45 p.m.

Subway. 6" turkey, Doritos, and a soda.

Snack, 5:00 p.m.

Light black cherry yogurt and an asiago cheese bagel.

Dinner, 8:30 p.m.

A bowl of "Deb's" (Ingrid's) Famous Chili

February 16, 2009

Breakfast, 6:45 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light strawberry banana yogurt.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Turkey sandwich, baked Ruffles, applesauce, and yogurt. The string cheese was a morning snack and the granola bar is still sitting in my desk drawer.

Snack, 5:15 p.m.

Baked Ruffles.

Dinner, 6:45 p.m.

It was "drive to Grafton to go to Costco" night, so I had Costco for dinner -- I had a chicken bake (not as good as usual), and split the sundae with Jon...although I will confess that I ate more of it than he did.

Snack, 9:30 p.m.

Cheese bagel. I always buy these at Costco because they're so yummy, but I shouldn't because they're so bad for me.
