Brunch, 12:15 p.m.

Subway. I had a 6" turkey ham and Baked sour cream & cheddar chips.

Snacks, 2:30 and 5:00 p.m.

I spent 5 hours at the library working on an essay. This was my brain food.

Snack, 6:45 p.m.

I went to the store after I went to the library, and I was starving, so...I bought some Rasinets. How long has it been since I last ate a Rasinet? Probably 10 years. I wanted the yogurt-covered ones, but they didn't have them. I made do.

Snack, 7:30 p.m.

I bought candy corn at the store, because how can you not buy candy corn at Halloween? Bad idea, though, because now I have candy corn sitting on my kitchen counter. I've only had a few pieces so far, but I can see this getting dangerous, like the pumpkins.

Dinner, 9:00 p.m.

Cheeseburger, fries, and pickle. Divine.

Snack, 1:30 a.m.

More ice-cream.

Breakfast, 7:30 a.m.

Light blueberry yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 11:45 a.m.

Healthy Choice ziti & meat sauce, and an apple.

Snack, 4:30 p.m.

I had 2 buttercream pumpkins. Then I had 2 more...and 2 more. It ended up being quite a few.

Dinner, 6:30 p.m.

We had a gift card to Chili's, so...we used it. I had my usual shrimp alfredo. Yum.

Snack, 10:00 p.m.

Baby carrots. They were really good. I got them for $.48 at Festival Foods. Can you believe that? I had a coupon...$.48 as long as I made an additional $5 purchase. No problem there. :)

Breakfast, 9:30 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light raspberry yogurt.

Lunch, 12:30 p.m.

Turkey sandwich and Easy Mac. The white cheddar flavor isn't as good as the original flavor, FYI.

Snack, 3:00 p.m.

Snickers & Diet Pepsi.

Dinner, 5:45 p.m.

Leftover taco fixins (the shells were a little soggy) and white rice. I definitely prefer the Mexican rice, but it was all gone so I made do.

Snack, 9:00 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: I had "lunch" at the Sons of Norway meeting. It was the kind of spread that you'd find at a Lutheran church social or a Midwestern family reunion. You know...open-faced ham sandwiches, Jello with nondescript chunks of fruit floating in it, coffee cake, a million varieties of bars. In other words...the kind of stuff that makes me feel right at home. Though I could probably find a lot of better and more interesting things to do than hang out with a bunch of old people at SoN, it's very comforting. I really enjoy it now that I'm going (my Norsk friend, Exercise Science Prof Kelly, talked me into joining). I'm very surprised by this.

October 19, 2009

Breakfast, 7:30 a.m.

Light mixed berry yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 11:00 a.m.

2 slices of leftover frozen pizza, granola bar, and Jello cup. I didn't eat the apple -- it's still in my office fridge.

Snack, 2:15 p.m.

M&Ms.

Snack, 4:30 p.m.

4 buttercream pumpkins. According to the box, there are 17 calories per pumpkin. Also, a bag of pretzels since the pumpkins are not at all filling.

Dinner, 6:30 p.m.

Tacos and Mexican rice (from a box, yes).

Snack, 8:00 p.m.

Apple.

Snack, 11:00 p.m.

A dish of After Dinner Mint ice cream. I think this might be my new favorite flavor.

October 18, 2009

Breakfast, 12:30 p.m.

Light strawberry banana yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 4:00 p.m.

KFC. I had a crispy chicken leg and 3 biscuits (Jon doesn't like them). I also had a few of the potato wedges, but Jon ate about 80% of them.

Snack, 7:30 p.m.

We went grocery shopping today and discovered Halloween buttercream pumpkins. Yum! I had a handful of these while grading.

Dinner, 8:45 p.m.

A can of Campbell's vegetarian vegetable soup. This reminds me of my grandma -- she always had this stuff at her house, regular than the regular vegetable beef soup. For the longest time, I thought that the vegetable soup was something special that I could only have at grandma's. Ah, nostalgia...

Snack, 10:30 p.m.

After Dinner Mint ice cream -- so good. It doesn't take like mint chocolate chip -- it takes like the butter mints you'd get at weddings. Very good find.
