March 29, 2009

I've been quite neglectful of this blog lately. Jon's brother has been staying with us for the past few days. I've also been grading papers at lightning speed (there's even evidence in a lot of the photos, because I graded while eating). Anyway...here's last week in food:

Sunday, March 22:

Monday, March 23:

Tuesday, March 24:

NOT PICTURED: I had a Subway value meal for lunch...so...6" turkey sub, chips, diet soda.

Wednesday, March 25:

I must have eaten something for dinner, but I have no memory of what it was.

Thursday, March 26:

It was faculty meeting day, so the college fed me lunch (soup, salad, bread sticks, and cake). I must have had a snack at some point during the day, too, but again...no idea what it was.

Friday, March 27:

Saturday, March 28:

I also had a waffle cone with vanilla frozen yogurt while I was at the Admirals game, and a box of mac-n-cheese after the game.

Sunday, March 29:

I also had a piece of string cheese and some pretzels.

Breakfast, 1:00 p.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light raspberry yogurt.

Snack, 4:00 p.m.

Goldfish crackers.

Lunch, 5:30 p.m.

I had intended to eat lunch earlier, but I got carried away with cleaning and laundry. Anyway, it's leftover lasagna. The plate is not a full-sized dinner plate, so this slice of lasagna is smaller than it looks.

Snack, 7:45 p.m.

Thin Mints.

Snack, 8:00 p.m.

The cookies made me thirsty, and the milk was about to go bad, so...

Dinner, 9:30 p.m.

I made a pot of Deb's. This time, I used turkey instead of beef. It's not quite as tasty, but still damn good.

Snack, 1:15 a.m.

This was a great discovery. Wal-Mart now sells frozen fruit. The frozen blueberries are cheaper than fresh ones, and I prefer my blueberries frozen anyway, so it works out well.

Breakfast, 12:45 p.m.

Light black cherry yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Snack, 4:00 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: String cheese and a package of Goldfish crackers.

Lunch, 6:30 p.m.

Subway value meal -- 6" turkey ham on italian herbs & cheese bread, Doritos, and a Diet Coke.

Snack, 8:15 p.m.

Girl Scout cookies.

Snack, 10:45 p.m.

Applesauce...I was waiting for Jon to get home from work before I ate dinner, but I got hungry...

Dinner, 11:30 p.m.

Lasagne. I know...11:30 seems late for dinner, but I've been staying up until 4:00 a.m. during spring break. That'll be fun for when I have to *wake up* at 6:30 on Monday...

March 19, 2009

Breakfast, 12:15 p.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light mixed berry yogurt.

Lunch, 3:30 p.m.

Nasty mac-n-cheese. Do NOT buy the Disney brand. It tastes like ass. (Not that Kraft is a gourmet meal...)

Dinner, 7:30 p.m.

Mexican at El Camino. I forgot to take the picture until I was pretty much finished. I had 2 beef enchiladas, Mexican rice, and refried beans. As you can see, though, I didn't eat much of the beans -- they were gross today, which is highly disappointing. The rice and beans are the best part of Mexican, in my opinion.

Snack, 11:30 p.m.

Jon and I split a bag of microwave popcorn...but I'd say it was more like I ate 2/3 and he ate 1/3 of the bag.

March 18, 2009

Breakfast, 12:30 a.m.

Light strawberry yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 3:15 p.m.

Frozen fettuccine alfredo.

Snack, 4:45 p.m.

More corn pops.

NOT PICTURED: I don't remember what I ate, but there must have been a snack between the corn pops and my very late dinner. There may have even been 2 snacks.

Dinner, 11:30 p.m.

Half of a frozen pizza. I'm so pissed...Jon's mom got us a Pampered Chef pizza stone for Christmas. That thing makes amazing pizzas (frozen and otherwise). I'd never had any trouble with it. I took the pizza out of the oven like normal, set it on the counter. I noticed a speck on the pizza cutter, so I rinsed it off before cutting the pizza. A very small little bit of water from the pizza cutter got on the pizza stone, and...it cracked. It sounded like thunder, and a big chunk of the stone just...separated. I glued it with some ceramic glue and it's pretty solid, but we'll see how it holds up in the oven.

Brunch, 12:15 p.m.

I didn't eat before I left Jamie's, and I knew I couldn't make it all the way back to Sheboygan without eating...so...I stopped at Taco Bell. I had 2 hard shell tacos and a cinnamon twist.

Snack, 3:30 p.m.

Light black cherry yogurt. Yuck -- look at all the crumbs on my counter.

Dinner, 5:30 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: Dinner with Exercise Scientist Kelly...and Kelly's mom. Kelly's mom was visiting from River Falls, and we had a Sons of Norway meeting. Kelly's mom wanted to come with, and we decided to go out for dinner before the meeting. Kelly's mom wanted Culver's, because she'd never had Culver's before. I had a cheeseburger and cheesecurds, and a small dish of mint oreo ice cream.

Snack, 8:45 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: "Lunch" at the Sons of Norway meeting. It was the typical fare that's served when old Norwegians get together...open-faced sandwiches, bars of various types, Jell-O salads, the like.

Snack, 12:15 a.m.

More of the corn pops.
