Breakfast, 10:30 a.m.

Bananna, left over from the fruit salad making
experiment.

"Lunch," 1:30 p.m.

I suck. I forgot my lunch today, so I had to eat out of
the vending machine. And we all know how healthy
that is.

Snack, 4:40 p.m.

Leftover fruit salad. Mmmm.

Dinner, 7:00 p.m.
I suck and forgot my camera. My friends Karen and
Tara took me out for a celebratory "Yay, you got a job!"
dinner at Villa Nova. (Yeah...I know...it's a little late.
But, there just hasn't been an opportunity.) I had
a cup of soup, ravioli stuffed with cheese, spinach, and
sun-dried tomatoes (I'm trying on the veggies, guys),
and ice-cream topped with raspberry sauce.

Snack, 12:45 a.m.

Jon was eating chips and salsa, so I had a few. Literally,
a few. (And yes, he's wearing boxers.)

Chips and salsa are actually a pretty good snack.

A banana is not enough for breakfast.

I mentioned the ravioli/vegetable thing in my comment for yesterday.

There can be healthy vending machine choices, sometimes. I look for granola bars and nuts. Sun chips are better than regular chips/cheetos.

wait. I don't understand. If you proclaim on your blog (several times) that you are lazy, and even take your stubbornness as a source of pride (?), then what exactly is the point of this blog? Clearly you are implying that you don't want to change. So what are we supposed to comment on? It doesn't seem like all of this will make much difference.

The most important thing that has happened so far is that I have been deterred from snacking a number of times in the past week just because I didn't want to take a picture of something...or because I didn't want to be embarrassed by the sheer amount of food on the page (never mind what KIND of food).

PS: Urs, Sun Chips have been the grossest chip (aside from Funyons, of course) for as far back as I can recall, and I'm sad that you don't realize it. :) I like Baked Lays, but our vending machines almost never have them...and I've never seen a granola bar in our vending machines either. It sucks that they close down all of the food service at UAA for the summer...I miss Subway.

I was chatting with a friend today and discovered we both had gallbladder issues and I thought how it changed the way I eat totally. Once you get on insurance you should get gallbladder attacks (i know it's totally not possible to make it happen, but here's my reasoning). I used to eat the crap you do - heavy sauces and what not but after a few super bad attacks caused by that food it takes a lot for me to touch that crap anymore! Even though I don't have a gallbladder I won't even tempt eating the stuff anymore. Pain is a good cure!

Yes, Sun Chips are seriously heinous.

The other point of this blog is to make fun of Signe. Duh.

hahaha--depends on if you're too obsessed with food to care, Lise. :-) I had to have my gallbladder removed, and my pain attacks were wretched, but it wasn't a strong enough deterrant for me while I was working at Bill's.
