FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND

Thursday, July 2
Breakfast, 12:30 p.m.

Krispy Kreme maple bar. I picked it up at the gas station on my way out of town. I spent the weekend in western Wisconsin visiting family. It was a busy weekend -- a family reunion and a wedding.

Snack, 2:00 p.m.

More gas station food...

Dinner, 6:00 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: a cheese enchilada, 2 chicken tacos, rice, and beans. I went out for Mexican with my sister, mom, aunt, and cousin.

Snack, 1:00 a.m.
NOT PICTURED: 3 slices of frozen pizza. I can't tell you why, but Ingie and I always end up making pizza in the middle of the night when we're at our parents' house.

Friday, July 3
Breakfast, 9:30 a.m.

Light strawberry yogurt.

Snack, 12:30 p.m.

A homemade blueberry muffin. I love going to grandma's -- lots of good eating.

Lunch, 1:15 p.m.

I went out to The Rainbow with my mom, sister, and grandma. Grandma always has lots of baked goods at her house, but never anything to eat for a meal. I had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and fries.

Dinner, 7:00 p.m.

OK...not the healthiest day ever, but whenever I'm in Blair with my sister and cousins, we go to the rootbeer stand (a.k.a. A&W). It's just what we do. In addition to the burger, I also had half of a peanut butter cup flurry. I shouldn't have, but...it was so good.

Snack, 11:30 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: A package of tropical skittles. My cousin and I went on a contact solution and beer run to the gas station after the fireworks (yes, fireworks on the 3rd...whatever), and ended up with snacks.

Saturday, July 4
Breakfast, 10:00 p.m.

Blueberry muffin.

Lunch, 12:00 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: Lunch at the family reunion. I had a sloppy joe, potato chips, and...fruit salad? I can't remember for sure.

Dinner, 6:00 p.m.

Wedding food! Beet root salad (I didn't eat much of it), the best pork ever, and wedding cake. I also had a beef shishkebob as an appetizer. This was by far the best wedding food I've ever had in my life.

Snack, 12:45 a.m.
NOT PICTURED: Cheese popcorn.

Sunday, July 5
Brunch, 12:30 p.m.

My cousin's mom is nuts. On the day after her son's wedding, she had 20+ people at her house for the gift opening, and she made a gigantic meal. She got home from the wedding at 1:30 a.m., mopped the kitchen floor, and then got up at 7:00 a.m. to cook -- and then she apologized profusely for the plastic silverware and styrofoam plates. Anyway, I had meatballs, cheesy mashed potatoes, baked beans, fruit salad, and lefse. I also had a really yummy peanut butter dessert that's not pictured here.

Dinner, 9:00 p.m.

Stouffer's chicken alfredo. I got stuck in 4th of July traffic on the way home, so the drive (normally 4 hours) took almost 6. I was starving by the time I got home, and Jon -- good boyfriend that he is -- had dinner waiting.
