Breakfast, 10:00 a.m.

Banana and peanut butter on wheat toast

Lunch, 2:30 p.m.

The last of "Deb's" Famous Chili. Also, some crackers. Lots of crackers, to be honest. As you can see, I have parked myself at the coffee table, in front of the TV, with the laptop. At this point I was still lesson planning, but I was in position for the election coverage bonanza. I pretty much didn't move from this spot until bed time, at around 11:45...

Dinner, 7:30 p.m.

...except for 20 minutes to go through the Culver's drive-through, when I was listening to NPR. I was in a shitty mood (long story), and I'd had a shitty day (longer story), and I had a pretty awful headache. So, I decided to spoil myself with Culver's -- particularly the cheese curds. And, OK, the milkshake too...but it was a small milkshake. All I have to say is that I was disappointed by my dinner. That probably that had something to do with my crappy day, even though things were already starting to go Obama's way by this point. You know what? I'm so annoyed that my election holiday was ruined by some work-related b.s. that I have no control over, and that my job manged to cast a shadow over Obama's win. In fact, I'm still more pissed about the b.s. than I am elated about the election. That just isn't right -- I've been anticipating President Obama for...well...since Hillary got knocked out of the race.

Snack, 9:30 p.m.

Things were really looking good for Obama at this point, and I was feeling really fat because of the Culver's, and really shitty because of other things, so...I ate a very yummy apple. Have you all sampled the Honey Crisp variety? Because if not, oh my. You must. They're a tad expensive, but very-very-very good.
