Mixed berry yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.
Lunch, 4:00 p.m.
This is a much bigger/heavier meal than I'd normally eat for
lunch, but it was Jon's first day of work at his new job, and to
celebrate -- and to ensure that he ate something before going
to work -- I said I'd make whatever meal he wanted before his
shift at 5:00. This is what he wanted. It's cheese ravioli in a
carbonara sauce (that's alfredo + bacon -- bad, I know, but so
yummy). We also had mashed potatoes, but I fucked them up.
They were runny because I put in too much milk.
Snack, 8:00 p.m.
Uh-oh...look what I found at the store. Best (and worst)
discovery ever. I can't help myself...I'm living on the lake now.
There has been a great deal of nostalgia lately as a result. And,
this food is the epitome of summer on the lake. Unless you spent
Door County summers with me you wouldn't understand, but
the point is this: resistance is futile. Ingrid, Christy, Courtney,
Danny and Nick would most likely agree.
Dinner, 10:45 p.m.
More nostalgia. This stuff reminds me of my grandma. We
always had it at her house...never the regular Campbell's
vegetable beef. I used to think there was some sort of magic
in Blair because my grandma made alphabets come out of the
can. It took me a long time to get that it was an entirely
different kind of soup. :)
Snack, 1:30 a.m.
This was my right-before-bed snack. I know I shouldn't
eat right before I go to bed...and certainly not while I'm
in bed (reading, not sleeping). It was calling me to me, and
I was hot and cranky so I gave in. At least I'm eating fruit
for snacks now, right?

MMM.....Blue Moon!!! You are right, the temptation is too big, resistance wouldn't be possible!
