Breakfast, 11:15 a.m.

Light peach yogurt & Honey Nut Cheerios. (No milk.)

Lunch, 2:45 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: Psychology Alicia called because she was having a crisis. After an hour, we decided to meet up at El Camino for a late lunch. I had the taco plate -- 2 beef tacos (hard shell), rice, and beans.

Snack, 6:15 p.m.

Honey wheat pretzels.

Snack, 8:45 p.m.

I wasn't hungry, but I really wanted some sherbet. I didn't eat very much of it.

Dinner, 11:30 p.m.

I finally got hungry after Jon got home from work. I microwaved a lasagna. (One of the individual-sized ones, not one of the entree-sized ones!)

Breakfast, 7:15 a.m.

The usual.

Lunch, 12:30 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: I had lunch with writing prof Nate. We went to the cafeteria (yuck), so I picked at some nasty soup, a tuna melt, and scalloped potatoes. I didn't eat much of anything. The cookie (oatmeal M&M) was the only thing I finished.

Snack, 4:15 p.m.

Cherry pop tarts.

Snack, 7:30 p.m.
Package of Goldfish crackers. I was in the middle of grading, so I didn't make dinner even though I probably should have.

Dinner, 9:30 p.m.

Norwegians love white foods: lefse, fish (lutefisk!), mashed potatoes... While others may look at this plate and see bland food, I think, "Yum!" It's cheese ravioli and sliced new potatoes. Mmmm.

Breakfast, 7:15 a.m.

Light peach yogurt and peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 12:30 p.m.

Grilled ham & cheese, fries, and Diet Pepsi. This is actually an old picture -- for once, I didn't eat lunch in my office. May Term is less meeting-filled, and also all the classes are scheduled during the same time slot, so it's actually possible to meet up with folks for lunch! Thus, I ate at the grill with Criminal Justice Prof Katie and Exercise Science Prof Kelly today (as opposed to bringing a carryout order back to my office). I forgot to whip out my cell phone and take a picture, though, so I'm recycling.

Dinner, 6:15 p.m.

I got home from school after lesson planning for way too long, and gobbled down half a frozen pizza before running off to Milwaukee to collect the parents from the airport. They were returning from a little jaunt to Prague to visit my sister, complete with side trip to Greece. I am so, so, so jealous.

Snack, 9:15 p.m.

Big Lare likes Europe, but Big Lare does not like European food. He was starving after something like 19 hours of airplanes and airport and wanted to stop for cheeseburgers on the way home (you can see his nice American burger in the background). I just got ice cream (with blackberries!). Oh, and a glass of water. My poor mother...she practically fell asleep at the table. I think Little Susan was irritated with Big Lare's cheeseburger hankering and just wanted to go to bed.

Breakfast, 7:15 a.m.

Peanut butter on wheat toast and light strawberry yogurt.

Lunch, 11:45 a.m.

The usual assortment of crap that comes in bulk at Costco. (Including the sandwich meat and the cheese!)

Snack, 4:30 p.m.

I hate prepared oatmeal but love to eat the fruit flavored stuff directly out of the package as a snack. I'm very weird that way -- I don't put milk on my cereal either.

Dinner, 9:30 p.m.
I forgot to take a picture, but dinner was a can of Spaghetti O's. Partly this was for nostalgia purposes (oddly, for college -- not childhood), and partly this was because I was so beat from preparing for tomorrow's three hour May Term entertainment bonanza (uh...I mean, class) that even having to slice a frozen pizza seemed like a lot of work.

May 12, 2009

Breakfast, 7:15 a.m.

The usual.

Lunch, 11:45 a.m.

Also the usual.

Snack, 4:15 p.m.

Peaches & Berries Special K bar.

Snack, 6:30 p.m.
NOT PICTURED: McDonald's ice-cream cone. Karl, the other professor who went on the poetry class field trip, decided we should stop to eat before going to the reading since we had time. That was good thinking on his part, because I think some of the football players would have died sitting through 2 hours of poetry on an empty stomach.

Dinner, 10:30 p.m.

Jon made a pizza for dinner in my absence, and I ate the leftovers when I got home.

May 11, 2009

Breakfast, 7:00 a.m.

Light blueberry yogurt & peanut butter on wheat toast.

Lunch, 12:15 p.m.

Turkey sandwich, blueberry pop tarts, string cheese, Baked Ruffles, & applesauce.

Snack, 5:30 p.m.
Strawberry Special K granola bar.

Dinner, 8:30 p.m.

Chicken Pasta. This looks really icky on the plate, but it tastes really good. It's chicken and spaghetti in a cream sauce with a lot of different spices (thyme, sage, garlic, onion salt, pepper, cayenne pepper).

Dessert, 9:15 p.m.

Orange sherbet.

May 10, 2009

Breakfast, 12:15 p.m.

Light peach yogurt & honey nut Cheerios (no milk).

Snack, 3:45 p.m.

A package of Goldfish crackers.

Dinner, 7:00 p.m.

Whole grain mac-n-cheese.

Beverage, 8:00 p.m.

The milk is about to go bad, so... I madesome chocolate milk.

Snack, 9:30 p.m.

Blue Moon ice-cream sammitch.
