BREAKFAST, 8:30 A.M.
Honey Nut Cheerios & light raspberry yogurt
LUNCH, 11:00 A.M.
I'm not in the habit of bringing my phone to faculty meeting, so I didn't get a picture of my lunch. Oops. Anyway, it was a cup of chili, 2 garlic breadsticks, and a small salad (really, just greens, sunflower seeds, and cherry tomatoes).
SNACK, 4:15 P.M.
Peanut butter sandwich. I was ravenous, and the sandwich didn't do the trick, so I will admit it. I had a few spoonfuls of peanut butter after I finished the sandwich.
DINNER, 7:35 P.M.
Smoothie -- spinach, yogurt, and a variety of frozen fruit. I got home from work really late, and then I had to be at a social engagement at 8, so...I needed something really quick.
SNACK (DINNER #2?), 10:30 P.M.
The smoothie only held me over for a while. I was hungry again by the time I got home, so I heated up a can of tomato soup. I made it with milk, not water.

BREAKFAST, 10:15 A.M.
Honey Nut Cheerios & light strawberry banana yogurt
LUNCH, 2:10 P.M.
Leftover chili
SNACK, 4:40 P.M.
Blueberry granola bar
DINNER, 8:30 P.M.
2 tacos and Mexican rice. (NOTE: I began making dinner around 6:15. Shortly after I started browning the meat, I realized that there was no lettuce in the house, and given the blizzard conditions, I wasn't about to go to the store to get some. I asked Jon to pick some up on his way home from work, so that delayed my dinner by about 2 hours. I confess that I ate 2 empty taco shells to tide me over, and an unphotographed individual-sized bag of Baked Cheetos an hour later, because I was pretty hungry.)BEVERAGE, 11:00 P.M.
Raspberry hot chocolate with a shot of marshmallow vodka. Would have been better without the vodka. Live and learn.

BREAKFAST, 7:45 A.M.
Honey Nut Cheerios & light yogurt
SNACK, 10:50 A.M.
Goldfish Crackers
Not pictured: Cafeteria food -- fried shrimp, potato wedges, a little taste of some kind of cheesy casserole, and canned peaches. (This wasn't my choice, but I had a lunch meeting with a colleague, and the meal was paid for...)
DINNER, 6:40 P.M.
Frozen alfredo. Terrible, I know...but there was no time to cook. I was grading midterms until after 10 p.m.
SNACK, 11:00 P.M.
Cauliflower & queso dip. It's a reward for eating veggies.

Turkey sub & Baked Lays (barbecue flavor)

Cinnamon hot chocolate and port wine cheese spread on Ritz crackers

Berry smoothie while attending a storytelling event at Paradigm Coffee & Music

Not pictured: a handful of Sour Patch kids.

Ravioli in bacon cream sauce & canned corn. (No, I didn't eat all of that.)

Baby carrots
February 22, 2013
Not my finest day, food-wise.
BREAKFAST, 7:30 A.M.
Honey Nut Cheerios & light peach yogurt.
SNACK, 11:45 P.M.
A friend invited me to go to lunch with her at 1:00, but I was starving even before noon, so I had a snack to tide me over.
LUNCH, 1:10 P.M.
I ate the same bad-for-me lunch as I had yesterday. I am a creature of habit. I suck.
BEVERAGE, 6:30 P.M.
16 oz hot chocolate while grading papers at the Weather Center. Yes, on a Friday night. Yes, I am a gigantic loser. (Actually, I'm just an overworked composition professor who teaches an insane 4-4 load. Or maybe that's a synonym for "loser.")
SNACK, 8:05 P.M.
By the time I got home from the coffee shop, it was pretty late so I decided just to eat a snack and wait to have dinner with Jon. He'd called to say he wanted to order pizza, and I'm always game for pizza. Anyway, I had Baked Cheetos as my snack.
DINNER, 9:15 P.M.
Two bread sticks and two slices of pizza -- only mushrooms on my half. For whatever reason, I'm not a big fan of having meat on my pizza.

BREAKFAST, 8:10 A.M.
Blueberry filled donut with powdered sugar. It wasn't very good, so I only ate about half.
SNACK, 10:05 A.M.
On account of the shitty breakfast, I was starving by mid-morning.
LUNCH, 12:15 P.M.
I met some friends at the campus grill for lunch and had my usual -- grilled ham & cheese, fries, and Diet Pepsi.
BEVERAGE, 6:05 P.M.
I don't usually include beverages, because most of what I drink doesn't contain calories, but...orange juice does. I'm drinking it today because I feel like I might be on the verge of getting sick. I had a second glass later in the evening.
DINNER, 6:45 P.M.
Spaghetti with meat sauce and two slices of bread.
SNACK, 9:30 P.M.
Project Runway treats at Kelly's -- crab puff and cranberry wine.
SNACK, 11:20 P.M.
Baby carrots. I wasn't hungry, but...it's hard to watch TV and not eat. A bad habit, indeed.
February 20, 2013
BREAKFAST, 7:30 A.M.
Honey Nut Cheerios (no milk) & light peach yogurt
LUNCH, 12:10 P.M.
Ham & cheese sandwich on wheat bread & Velveeta rotini with broccoli
SNACK, 4:00 P.M.
Blueberry granola bar
SNACK, 6:05 P.M.
Two miniature Hershey's chocolates
DINNER, 7:20 P.M.
I know it looks icky, but it's actually good -- it's a hamburger & potato hot dish concoction that my mom used to make a lot. Also: this is a baby plate. I didn't actually fill a full-sized dinner plate.
SNACK, 10:35 P.M.
Mint chocolate chip ice cream.
